Happy Belated Birthday to our beloved translator of Marcel, Sir Jack Keogan! (Not officially knighted yet on earth, but surely Heaven has done so!) And equally happy belated birthday to Miss Marcel East!!
I am, unsurprisingly, a day late if not a dollar short. I do, however, come with gifts in hand: A birthday tea complete with roses from St. Therese and her little brother Marcel Van....and a copy of Issue 1 of Roughhouse Magazine! True, they are only pictures on a screen for now, but if my hearts' desires come true (and they seem to more and more as I take our sister Therese's promises about Jesus' promises seriously), maybe one of these days I'll get to treat both dear Jack and dear MM East to a cream tea and not just one but two copies of Roughhouse (since issue 2 is set to go out next week)! I am calling Miss Marcel East the 3rd biggest fan of our hero Jack because his wife is number one, and I am number two. I haven't even factored in Marcel and Therese, so MM East may have to go down to fan number 5 . . . but why quibble on a birthday (or the day after)? I'll cede my seat and let her sit closer to Jack for their mutual birthday which was yesterday - and so must be celebrated for at least an octave hence. Meanwhile our sincerest and heartiest congrats to them both, Jack and MME, and many, many happy returns of the day!
